I want to talk about how we can avoid entitlement at Christmas – you know what I mean – what feels like the constant “I want, I want, I want”

Whether this come from a place of comparison – so and so has chocolates for breakfast in their advent calendar, to long list of demands for Christmas presents you can’t afford, or feels excessive and before you know it you’re being sucked into excess when you know that’s not what you want to do.

Here are the highlights:

(00:34) Don’t be sucked into excess at Christmas

(03:52) What does Christmas mean to you?

(09:03) Let’s start by educating our children

(12:21) Your traditions should reflect your family values

(15:14) Overcompensating may be a manifestation of guilt
